Every Good and Perfect Gift Comes From God

We had such an amazing week of blessings from above! First we find out we're pregnant on Saturday then Bryan has a second interview for the Production Artist/Assistant to the Design Director position on Tuesday. 2 day's later on Thursday he was offered the job! WAHOOO

He starts October 2nd!

Way to go Bug you deserve this!

A bit excited!

About 3 years ago I went off Birth Control pills because I had a friend going through a really hard time getting pregnant and had talked about how bad the pill is for your body. Bryan and I weren't going to try for a baby right then and there but I started reading Taking charge of your fertility and temping to prevent. We wanted to wait to try until Bryan was out of school, but recently my clock has been ticking so loud I almost can't see straight. Bryan also started talking about staying in school after he graduates and gain more knowledge in Web Design so we decided to start trying and see what God has in store for us. We have been trying for 3 months and our little family of 3 is about to become 4, if all goes as we hope.
We're Pregnant! I'm about 5 weeks and 2 days and already feeling how it is affecting my body. No morning sickness as of yet, but if it means I have a healthy baby growing inside of me, bring it on. hehe

We are both so excited to go on this next journey that God has laid out for us!

Wells Fargo update

We waited to talk to someone at Wells Fargo for about 30 mins and then when we got done explaining everything and he looked up Bryan's SS number (found NOTHING), looked up the account number (found NOTHING) and last looked up Bryan * R*****. He did end up finding a Bryan * R***** but this person lives in Minnasota. WTH?! So they did just pick a random guy (MY Bryan) and dump this on him. This has NOTHING to do with us! The dude called the loss and recovery # and they said that they don't have any record of this and it's in the IRS's hands now so we have to call this other number. This is such BULL I mean come on with what we looked up it's obvious that this isn't our thing. At one point the guy said while waiting on hold "you're a myth" and I said UM well he should be since HE'S NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT HERE! SIGH so Bryan called the number first thing the next morning.

He called the # that next morning and the lady looked up Bryan’s info and told him that it DID have to do with some bad financial decisions that he made 12 years ago. This just didn’t seem right and so Bryan researched more. He called the IRS and the Wells Fargo in San Francisco and they couldn’t find anything on him. They said it couldn’t be an auto loan (which the lady said it was)…it was a student loan which made sense because of all those dang phone calls we were getting for 2 years. We got an extension and a statement from Wells Fargo saying that this has nothing to do with us and we’ll get all the documents together and get it sent off to the IRS. What a mess!

HATE HATE HATE Wells Fargo

So as I said before, Bryan pulled an all-nighter Monday night…he crawled into bed around 5:30 when he was supposed to be getting ready for work. He has got to be exhausted.

Monday night I remembered as I was getting ready for bed that I had a dentist appt.at 8 yesterday morning. So I got up, got ready and headed over to Clackamas for my appt. I got my teeth cleaned and good news is I don’t have any gravities and bad news is I am going to have to spend some money on getting implants and this thing that prevents me from clenching my teeth and grinding at night. I can’t remember what it’s called? My wee little teeth are getting smaller and smaller with every clench and grind. The implants are for 2 holes on the bottom that I have because my old Dentist pulled my baby teeth out when I didn’t have any permanent teeth under them. I wore a retainer with fake teeth on it for a while but lost that and my top jaw is shifting and conforming to those holes so I need to do something about it NOW. It’ll be nice to have a mouth full of teeth even if 2 of them are fake and no one can really tell that I have missing teeth anyway.
Bryan and I both go back next Tuesday to pick up the night thing and the Doc made an impression of my jaw to see if there is enough room for the implants. I stopped and got a coffee on my way into work and I stayed late to make up the time I missed. I met my family at Olive Garden for dinner and we had a good time chatting and laughing.
Julie got the “going home” outfit for the baby girl. She brought it in to show me…its way cute!
My dad, sisters and Nathan get season tickets to the Winter Hawks every year and always go to the New Years Eve game. Julie asked me if I would watch the baby while they go to the game. Hehe I think it’s cute that she’s already planning for that.

Bryan and I have to go to Wells Fargo today to talk to them about an issue. About a year and a half ago they kept calling us telling us that Bryan needed to start paying on this loan except it wasn’t MY Bryan’s loan. We have NEVER had an account with them before and I can tell you WE NEVER WILL! I seriously HATE Wells Fargo! This isn’t the only time that we’ve had issues with them. I had fraud done against my SS number. This stupid girl opened an account at Wells Fargo with it under her own name thankfully it wasn’t mine because it was easier to get it all worked out. Wells Fargo NEEDS to be more careful as to who they let open accounts UGH! Anyway, they called and called and called and we kept telling them you have the wrong person. I seriously think they just looked up all Bryan R***** and just randomly picked one and said OH it must be HIS account. Apparently they couldn’t find the “Right” guy so they looked Bryan/Brian R***** up in the phone book. They finally stopped calling so I thought the issue was over but NOPE…that IRS thing we got back was from them. They sent the IRS an interest tax form in which says we owe $500 in taxes because of this. I am SO angry! We’re going to mark the "Do not agree with some of the changes" and we have to write a statement why and send it back. Hopefully we'll get a statement from Wells Fargo too to send. This is SO frustrating!

White River

This last Thursday after work I stopped by the store on my way home and got food for our annual Labor Day camping trip. I unloaded everything when I got home, let Calie out and fed her. Then I started to get everything ready for the weekend. Cooked some food and put it in the freezer, made dessert for our Spaghetti dinner, packed our clothes etc. I wanted everything to be ready so all we needed to do was come home from work Friday pack the truck and leave. Bryan got home from class around 9:15ish and was up till around 1:30 working on his final due today and I was up till around 11-11:30.
I went into work with Bryan so I that I could get off early. I got here around 6ish and started moving desks immediately. The team that I had been sitting with is getting a new team member today and she needed the desk that I was sitting in. So now I am sitting with my boss and the other admin for the Target Team. I got everything moved and hooked back up within a couple hours and worked hard to get everything done before I left at 3. I missed our annual putting event that we have in our office because I left early on Friday but that’s ok. When we got home we packed up the Truck, grabbed something to eat and headed for White River. I think that we got there close to 7. Bryan set up the tent and I watched Calie. She was a tad annoying the first night but over all she did pretty good. One thing that I need to start working on with her and I don’t know quite where to start is she thinks that ALL toys are her toys. There were a ton of kids there and toys everywhere and she wanted to play with them. Travis and Moo had left Keira’s Care Bear ball behind at Family Camp and I had managed to keep it away from Calie until the very day we left for White River and I was going to give it back to them. She popped it and the first thing she did when we got there was go after and pop Kambrie’s ball. UGH So I am going to buy them new balls. Travis got the Care Bear ball at BiMart and we don’t have a card to get in there so hopefully I can find her a ball that she’ll enjoy. After Bryan got our tent set up I let him watch Calie while I organized everything in the tent. Kambrie and Dylan wanted to come in the tent with me so they bounced on our aero bed while I set up our other stuff. We were the only tent campers there AGAIN. We have a pretty big/nice tent so it works but it would be nice to have a trailer to store things in and cook in and be able to take showers in etc. We’ll have to look into it and see if we can find one that we can afford since we do a lot of camping in the summer. Bryan and Calie went to bed pretty early, the guy’s played poker and we girls sat around the fire. We had fun chatting and relaxing. At one point I had Kambrie and Alexis on my lap and T came and got Kambrie to try and get her to sleep and Alexis went in to get cleaned up and ready for bed. Linda brought her back out all cozy in a blanket and she fell asleep on my lap. I think that I headed to bed around 11 or 12 and snuggled up against Bryan trying to get warm. It got pretty cold at night. In fact we were both pretty stiff the next morning because we pretty much stayed in the same position trying to keep warm. The next morning we got up and hung out. People were making Breakfast and it smelt SO good but Bryan and I weren’t really that hungry. I went for a little walk with Moo, Keira and Alexis. We took the dogs and they walked a head of us and got along well. It was funny they would get about 100 feet ahead of us and then stop, turn around and wait for us to catch up. When we got back we hung out...some people took naps, played games, read and just relaxed. Some of the guy’s went shooting and made a trip to the store and I tried to take a nap but it was too hot in the tent for me. For dinner Bryan and I had Tacos and Chips and salsa. I had prepared the meat ahead of time and froze it so all I had to do was heat it up and I made containers of cheese, lettuce and salsa plus we had Sour Cream. I had brought hard shells and soft shells but the soft ones did not taste good at all. I got the taco idea from my mom. She made these at Family Camp and I just loved that idea. We stayed up pretty late that night. It was a lot of fun!

Sunday morning we slept in a little I think like 9:30? We made Egg, sausage and cheese McMuffins for breakfast and later on when the Duffy’s were done with their breakfast we went on about a 3-4 hour hike. It was SO nice! We went on a search for a pioneer women’s grave but never found it. The guys went ahead and we waited for them…the road just kept going and going. Keira wanted to walk and play so it was hard for us to keep up with the guys so we just waited for them. When we got back Moo put Keira down for a nap and we sat around and chatted with Brandy before dinner. Calie and Bryan took a nap. Calie was WIPED out from the walk. Hehe We had Linda’s AMAZING spaghetti for dinner. I brought dessert (Brownies and cookies), Moo brought the bread, T brought wine and Brandy brought a yummy salad. After dinner we all cleaned up. The kids had spaghetti all over them. It was so cute. After everyone got cleaned up, we all watched Alexis and 2 boys that were there around her age hit a piñata. T brought it for Lex because she really wanted one for her b-day…I think? Nate took Kambrie down to the river to throw rocks because I guess she fell in love with the piñata and would just be heart broken if she had seen them break it. T had also brought glow in the dark sticks from the Dollar Store and all the kids just LOVED them. It was so funny watching them run around. Travis had put one on Mercy so I put one on Calie. Travis would throw the ball and you could see them run after it. It was pretty funny. Everyone went to bed pretty early that night. I had gotten into a card game with Nate, Jake and Travis and that took a while to get through so I went to bed around 11ish.
Monday morning we got up around 7:30 and got ready to go home. Bryan wanted to get home early to finish up his final project. We got everything packed up, said our goodbyes and left around 9. We got home around 10:15. Bryan must have sped the whole way because I think it takes longer than an hour and a half to and from where we camp?! Bryan unpacked the truck and I gave Calie a bath. I took about a 45min-hour HOT shower. It felt SO good. It was so dusty there and I felt dirty and disgusting. I cleaned up and got the laundry going and Bryan took his shower and started on his project. Calie and I went over to my parents to have a Labor Day dinner and my dad “helped” me wash the truck. I say “helped” me because he did pretty much the whole thing. Hehe I vacuumed it out and cleaned all the dust off the dash etc. He also helped me set up out tent so that I could hose it off and get all the dust off. It was pretty warm yesterday so it dried quickly. Calie and I were wiped out…she lay down on a blanket (which she never does…my fam always says we never see her laying down) and I tried to take a nap too. We had a yummy dinner and we played a card game. I went home around 8 did a few things around the house and went to bed. Bryan was still working on his project. In fact he never came to bed. He pulled an all-nighter. Hopefully he gets a good grade on it. It’s really good if I do say so myself. Check it out:

Alderbrook Park

I'm a little behind...

Sunday, August 27, 2006
We got up and got ready. We went to first service only and then headed to Alderbrook Park where my Company picnic was taking place. We got there around 12:30 and set out our blanket. It wasn't what I expected AT ALL. I thought it was going to look much nicer then it did. Kind of hard to explain but IMO it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. When we walked in I got a raffle ticket and a drink stamp. I never ended up having anything to drink but I got it just in case and they served lunch. The food was pretty good. The Teriyaki chicken was the best. We sat with Jim and his wife and Michelle and her family. Brian (the big man) started the raffle and of course I didn't win anything. I never do. I like how they just gave a raffle ticket to the employee though. One year at my dad's company picnic one of his co-workers brought his whole family and there were a lot and they won almost everything they raffled off. I didn't think that was really fair but oh well. After that we all moved to the big field for games. Bryan played the egg toss with Randy and we hung out with Bobbie and the girls. At one point Bobbie had gone to get a glass of water and left the girls with me. Delaney and Kiley were playing the water balloon toss and I had Maci in my lap. She was so sweet. Kiley got out and came over and told us and then said that she wanted to play again. She ran out to where they were playing and then came back in tears. She was so upset that she dropped the balloon and got out of the game. It was so sad. Bryan and I tried to tell her that she did a good job but it didn’t work. :o( She sat on my lap until Bobbie came back and her and Randy talked with her. By then it was around 4 and we needed to head out. Bryan had more homework to get done. Overall I’m glad that we went to the picnic.
