Baby 8w
Bryan and I arrived at 9:15 and checked in. They told us that my doctor was running a little behind because he had a deliverythat morning. We waited probably a half hour before being called back. Michelle my nurse weighed me. I actually weighed less than I thought I would. We then walked to the room and she said we are going to do an ultrasound today. That was very exciting to me because I really wanted to know that everything was ok. She took my blood pressure which was pretty normal. 112/86. Michelle talked our ears off. She was so excited for us! she was always asking me when we were going to start a family so she was happy. :o) It was hard to take everything she was saying in. She finally said ok I'm leaving because I'm probably overwhelming you. hehe I had to undress from the waist down and we waited for the doctor. When he came in he said congratulations and had me lie back on the table. He first tried to get a picture through my my stomach but it's too early so he used the probe. The picture was pretty clear except the baby looked more like a blob as you can see. But it's a beautiful blob! As soon as he moved the probe around he was able to get the heart beating. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Bryan was standing next to me rubbing my arm. He was smiling from ear to ear. The little heart was beating so fast. He measured the baby and we also could hear the baby's heartbeat too. It measured out to be 1.57 cm and the BPM was 171 a good strong heartbeat. It was so fast! It all feels SO real now and I feel so much better getting to see that our little one is doing ok. We went down to the lab and they drew a bunch of blood and I did a urine test. This is probably one of the most exciting adventures God is taking us on. I am so excited!

Anniversary weekend getaway
Our weekend went really well. We worked all day on Friday instead of getting off early. I regretted that but oh well. We went home and packed up the truck, got dinner, got gas and hit the road. We got on the road a lot later then I wanted too so we didn’t get to the beach until 9:30. As soon as we got to the blinking light to go into town, Calie sat up and started sniffing like crazy and she got excited. I think she knew we were at the beach. We checked in and unloaded the truck. We took Calie out to go to the bathroom and we went to bed around midnight.
I have to tell you we are pretty lazy when we go away for our anniversary. Our first anniversary we pretty much stayed in the hotel the whole time. We had a kitchen at that one so we could make our meals and we watched movies, took naps and watched a marathon of Road Rules. We did go to the beach and we ate at the pub there but we love just being together and getting all the R&R we can get.
Saturday morning we got up and took showers and got ready. It was a beautiful day on Saturday. The sun was out and it was a little windy. Perfect if you ask me. We walked to the beach and as we started on the path, Calie was pretty much leaping to get there. She just loves the beach. There weren’t that many people on the beach but we saw some people riding horses and a lot of people were driving up and down the beach. It was almost like they were on a hwy. Calie stayed clear of the cars, which was good but we let her run around and catch the ball. She went into the water of course. We brought towels so we were more than prepared for that.[tu] After we played around there for a while we went back to the room and took naps, watched TV and read a little bit. At around 4 we drove into town, parked and walked around. We didn’t really go into any shops for one because we had Calie and two we weren’t going to buy anything anyway. We got some waters (because I forgot to bring water) and walked along the boardwalk. We were going to go walk on the beach again but there were just way too many cars on it. My mom mentioned later that this is usually the time of year that they do that a lot. We window shopped some more, got some dinner to go and went back to the room. Overall the room was pretty small but it had a little table that we were able to eat at. We got yummy hamburgers and fries. After we ate we walked to the beach by the hotel and watched the sun set. We threw the ball for Calie to ware her out and talked as the sun set. There were clouds out but the sky was a pretty pink and it’s just so amazing. I have always LOVED going to the beach. I think it’s my MOST favorite place! The ocean that goes on forever, the sky, the sand…BEAUTIFUL!
We went back to the room and hung out. Watched a movie and I fell asleep around 10. Bryan said that he stayed up till around Midnight. He had a pretty bad cold so he wasn’t feeling all that well but we had a lot of fun.
Sunday morning we woke up to a light drizzle that turned into pouring down rain. The room was just so small so we decided to pack up and go home. We got McDonald’s breakfast on the way out. It rained the whole way home but it wasn’t too bad of a drive. When we got home we unpacked, put everything away, gave Calie a bath, started laundry and hung out. Nathan’s (my BIL) birthday was Saturday and Julie was throwing him a party that evening at 5:30. I made this chili dip and we headed over. It was my family and his. It was a pretty good party. We ate, played Bungo (Bryan was the LOOOSER and Seth was the WEINER), Nate opened his gifts and we had pie for dessert. It was a nice end to the weekend!

Way to go Bug you deserve this!
A bit excited!
About 3 years ago I went off Birth Control pills because I had a friend going through a really hard time getting pregnant and had talked about how bad the pill is for your body. Bryan and I weren't going to try for a baby right then and there but I started reading Taking charge of your fertility and temping to prevent. We wanted to wait to try until Bryan was out of school, but recently my clock has been ticking so loud I almost can't see straight. Bryan also started talking about staying in school after he graduates and gain more knowledge in Web Design so we decided to start trying and see what God has in store for us. We have been trying for 3 months and our little family of 3 is about to become 4, if all goes as we hope.
We're Pregnant! I'm about 5 weeks and 2 days and already feeling how it is affecting my body. No morning sickness as of yet, but if it means I have a healthy baby growing inside of me, bring it on. hehe
We are both so excited to go on this next journey that God has laid out for us!

Wells Fargo update
We waited to talk to someone at Wells Fargo for about 30 mins and then when we got done explaining everything and he looked up Bryan's SS number (found NOTHING), looked up the account number (found NOTHING) and last looked up Bryan * R*****. He did end up finding a Bryan * R***** but this person lives in Minnasota. WTH?! So they did just pick a random guy (MY Bryan) and dump this on him. This has NOTHING to do with us! The dude called the loss and recovery # and they said that they don't have any record of this and it's in the IRS's hands now so we have to call this other number. This is such BULL I mean come on with what we looked up it's obvious that this isn't our thing. At one point the guy said while waiting on hold "you're a myth" and I said UM well he should be since HE'S NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT HERE! SIGH so Bryan called the number first thing the next morning.
He called the # that next morning and the lady looked up Bryan’s info and told him that it DID have to do with some bad financial decisions that he made 12 years ago. This just didn’t seem right and so Bryan researched more. He called the IRS and the Wells Fargo in San Francisco and they couldn’t find anything on him. They said it couldn’t be an auto loan (which the lady said it was)…it was a student loan which made sense because of all those dang phone calls we were getting for 2 years. We got an extension and a statement from Wells Fargo saying that this has nothing to do with us and we’ll get all the documents together and get it sent off to the IRS. What a mess!

HATE HATE HATE Wells Fargo
So as I said before, Bryan pulled an all-nighter Monday night…he crawled into bed around 5:30 when he was supposed to be getting ready for work. He has got to be exhausted.
Monday night I remembered as I was getting ready for bed that I had a dentist appt.at 8 yesterday morning. So I got up, got ready and headed over to Clackamas for my appt. I got my teeth cleaned and good news is I don’t have any gravities and bad news is I am going to have to spend some money on getting implants and this thing that prevents me from clenching my teeth and grinding at night. I can’t remember what it’s called? My wee little teeth are getting smaller and smaller with every clench and grind. The implants are for 2 holes on the bottom that I have because my old Dentist pulled my baby teeth out when I didn’t have any permanent teeth under them. I wore a retainer with fake teeth on it for a while but lost that and my top jaw is shifting and conforming to those holes so I need to do something about it NOW. It’ll be nice to have a mouth full of teeth even if 2 of them are fake and no one can really tell that I have missing teeth anyway.
Bryan and I both go back next Tuesday to pick up the night thing and the Doc made an impression of my jaw to see if there is enough room for the implants. I stopped and got a coffee on my way into work and I stayed late to make up the time I missed. I met my family at Olive Garden for dinner and we had a good time chatting and laughing.
Julie got the “going home” outfit for the baby girl. She brought it in to show me…its way cute!
My dad, sisters and Nathan get season tickets to the Winter Hawks every year and always go to the New Years Eve game. Julie asked me if I would watch the baby while they go to the game. Hehe I think it’s cute that she’s already planning for that.
Bryan and I have to go to Wells Fargo today to talk to them about an issue. About a year and a half ago they kept calling us telling us that Bryan needed to start paying on this loan except it wasn’t MY Bryan’s loan. We have NEVER had an account with them before and I can tell you WE NEVER WILL! I seriously HATE Wells Fargo! This isn’t the only time that we’ve had issues with them. I had fraud done against my SS number. This stupid girl opened an account at Wells Fargo with it under her own name thankfully it wasn’t mine because it was easier to get it all worked out. Wells Fargo NEEDS to be more careful as to who they let open accounts UGH! Anyway, they called and called and called and we kept telling them you have the wrong person. I seriously think they just looked up all Bryan R***** and just randomly picked one and said OH it must be HIS account. Apparently they couldn’t find the “Right” guy so they looked Bryan/Brian R***** up in the phone book. They finally stopped calling so I thought the issue was over but NOPE…that IRS thing we got back was from them. They sent the IRS an interest tax form in which says we owe $500 in taxes because of this. I am SO angry! We’re going to mark the "Do not agree with some of the changes" and we have to write a statement why and send it back. Hopefully we'll get a statement from Wells Fargo too to send. This is SO frustrating!

White River
This last Thursday after work I stopped by the store on my way home and got food for our annual Labor Day camping trip. I unloaded everything when I got home, let Calie out and fed her. Then I started to get everything ready for the weekend. Cooked some food and put it in the freezer, made dessert for our Spaghetti dinner, packed our clothes etc. I wanted everything to be ready so all we needed to do was come home from work Friday pack the truck and leave. Bryan got home from class around 9:15ish and was up till around 1:30 working on his final due today and I was up till around 11-11:30.
I went into work with Bryan so I that I could get off early. I got here around 6ish and started moving desks immediately. The team that I had been sitting with is getting a new team member today and she needed the desk that I was sitting in. So now I am sitting with my boss and the other admin for the Target Team. I got everything moved and hooked back up within a couple hours and worked hard to get everything done before I left at 3. I missed our annual putting event that we have in our office because I left early on Friday but that’s ok. When we got home we packed up the Truck, grabbed something to eat and headed for White River. I think that we got there close to 7. Bryan set up the tent and I watched Calie. She was a tad annoying the first night but over all she did pretty good. One thing that I need to start working on with her and I don’t know quite where to start is she thinks that ALL toys are her toys. There were a ton of kids there and toys everywhere and she wanted to play with them. Travis and Moo had left Keira’s Care Bear ball behind at Family Camp and I had managed to keep it away from Calie until the very day we left for White River and I was going to give it back to them. She popped it and the first thing she did when we got there was go after and pop Kambrie’s ball. UGH So I am going to buy them new balls. Travis got the Care Bear ball at BiMart and we don’t have a card to get in there so hopefully I can find her a ball that she’ll enjoy. After Bryan got our tent set up I let him watch Calie while I organized everything in the tent. Kambrie and Dylan wanted to come in the tent with me so they bounced on our aero bed while I set up our other stuff. We were the only tent campers there AGAIN. We have a pretty big/nice tent so it works but it would be nice to have a trailer to store things in and cook in and be able to take showers in etc. We’ll have to look into it and see if we can find one that we can afford since we do a lot of camping in the summer. Bryan and Calie went to bed pretty early, the guy’s played poker and we girls sat around the fire. We had fun chatting and relaxing. At one point I had Kambrie and Alexis on my lap and T came and got Kambrie to try and get her to sleep and Alexis went in to get cleaned up and ready for bed. Linda brought her back out all cozy in a blanket and she fell asleep on my lap. I think that I headed to bed around 11 or 12 and snuggled up against Bryan trying to get warm. It got pretty cold at night. In fact we were both pretty stiff the next morning because we pretty much stayed in the same position trying to keep warm. The next morning we got up and hung out. People were making Breakfast and it smelt SO good but Bryan and I weren’t really that hungry. I went for a little walk with Moo, Keira and Alexis. We took the dogs and they walked a head of us and got along well. It was funny they would get about 100 feet ahead of us and then stop, turn around and wait for us to catch up. When we got back we hung out...some people took naps, played games, read and just relaxed. Some of the guy’s went shooting and made a trip to the store and I tried to take a nap but it was too hot in the tent for me. For dinner Bryan and I had Tacos and Chips and salsa. I had prepared the meat ahead of time and froze it so all I had to do was heat it up and I made containers of cheese, lettuce and salsa plus we had Sour Cream. I had brought hard shells and soft shells but the soft ones did not taste good at all. I got the taco idea from my mom. She made these at Family Camp and I just loved that idea. We stayed up pretty late that night. It was a lot of fun!
Sunday morning we slept in a little I think like 9:30? We made Egg, sausage and cheese McMuffins for breakfast and later on when the Duffy’s were done with their breakfast we went on about a 3-4 hour hike. It was SO nice! We went on a search for a pioneer women’s grave but never found it. The guys went ahead and we waited for them…the road just kept going and going. Keira wanted to walk and play so it was hard for us to keep up with the guys so we just waited for them. When we got back Moo put Keira down for a nap and we sat around and chatted with Brandy before dinner. Calie and Bryan took a nap. Calie was WIPED out from the walk. Hehe We had Linda’s AMAZING spaghetti for dinner. I brought dessert (Brownies and cookies), Moo brought the bread, T brought wine and Brandy brought a yummy salad. After dinner we all cleaned up. The kids had spaghetti all over them. It was so cute. After everyone got cleaned up, we all watched Alexis and 2 boys that were there around her age hit a piñata. T brought it for Lex because she really wanted one for her b-day…I think? Nate took Kambrie down to the river to throw rocks because I guess she fell in love with the piñata and would just be heart broken if she had seen them break it. T had also brought glow in the dark sticks from the Dollar Store and all the kids just LOVED them. It was so funny watching them run around. Travis had put one on Mercy so I put one on Calie. Travis would throw the ball and you could see them run after it. It was pretty funny. Everyone went to bed pretty early that night. I had gotten into a card game with Nate, Jake and Travis and that took a while to get through so I went to bed around 11ish.
Monday morning we got up around 7:30 and got ready to go home. Bryan wanted to get home early to finish up his final project. We got everything packed up, said our goodbyes and left around 9. We got home around 10:15. Bryan must have sped the whole way because I think it takes longer than an hour and a half to and from where we camp?! Bryan unpacked the truck and I gave Calie a bath. I took about a 45min-hour HOT shower. It felt SO good. It was so dusty there and I felt dirty and disgusting. I cleaned up and got the laundry going and Bryan took his shower and started on his project. Calie and I went over to my parents to have a Labor Day dinner and my dad “helped” me wash the truck. I say “helped” me because he did pretty much the whole thing. Hehe I vacuumed it out and cleaned all the dust off the dash etc. He also helped me set up out tent so that I could hose it off and get all the dust off. It was pretty warm yesterday so it dried quickly. Calie and I were wiped out…she lay down on a blanket (which she never does…my fam always says we never see her laying down) and I tried to take a nap too. We had a yummy dinner and we played a card game. I went home around 8 did a few things around the house and went to bed. Bryan was still working on his project. In fact he never came to bed. He pulled an all-nighter. Hopefully he gets a good grade on it. It’s really good if I do say so myself. Check it out:

Calie and I were wiped out…she lay down on a blanket (which she never does…my fam always says we never see her laying down) and I tried to take a nap too. We had a yummy dinner and we played a card game. I went home around 8 did a few things around the house and went to bed. Bryan was still working on his project. In fact he never came to bed. He pulled an all-nighter. Hopefully he gets a good grade on it. It’s really good if I do say so myself. Check it out:

Alderbrook Park
I'm a little behind...
Sunday, August 27, 2006
We got up and got ready. We went to first service only and then headed to Alderbrook Park where my Company picnic was taking place. We got there around 12:30 and set out our blanket. It wasn't what I expected AT ALL. I thought it was going to look much nicer then it did. Kind of hard to explain but IMO it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. When we walked in I got a raffle ticket and a drink stamp. I never ended up having anything to drink but I got it just in case and they served lunch. The food was pretty good. The Teriyaki chicken was the best. We sat with Jim and his wife and Michelle and her family. Brian (the big man) started the raffle and of course I didn't win anything. I never do. I like how they just gave a raffle ticket to the employee though. One year at my dad's company picnic one of his co-workers brought his whole family and there were a lot and they won almost everything they raffled off. I didn't think that was really fair but oh well. After that we all moved to the big field for games. Bryan played the egg toss with Randy and we hung out with Bobbie and the girls. At one point Bobbie had gone to get a glass of water and left the girls with me. Delaney and Kiley were playing the water balloon toss and I had Maci in my lap. She was so sweet. Kiley got out and came over and told us and then said that she wanted to play again. She ran out to where they were playing and then came back in tears. She was so upset that she dropped the balloon and got out of the game. It was so sad. Bryan and I tried to tell her that she did a good job but it didn’t work. :o( She sat on my lap until Bobbie came back and her and Randy talked with her. By then it was around 4 and we needed to head out. Bryan had more homework to get done. Overall I’m glad that we went to the picnic.

Date Night
I worked until 5 tonight and Bryan came to pick me up.
I had called him a few hours earlier and asked him what he wanted to do for date night and he said that he didn't know. I had already been thinking about it. This is the last week of the Street of Dreams and I really wanted to go but we didn't end up going this year. Instead I asked him if he wanted to go have dinner at Chili's and walk around the mall and he said yeah that sounds like a good idea. On our drive over there he was pretty quiet and while we were eating dinner I asked him if he was feeling better and he said, "a little now that I'm with you." ahh We got bottomless chips and salsa for a starter and I got Lettuce wraps for dinner and he got these boneless chicken things that normally you get as a starter but for a couple dollars more he got them with fries and corn on the cob. We both shared bites with each other which we normally never do, but he liked my Lettuce wraps and his chiken and corn were excellant! After dinner we went to Barnes and Noble and Bryan looked for drawing books while I looked for books that looked interesting and wrote them down so that I could request them at the Library. hehe Bryan got a book called Dynamic Figure Drawing. Then we found him a shirt at Anchor Blue...it will go well with the Hurley shirt that I got him. After that we went to Meier & Frank aka Macy's and looked around there. I looked in a couple departments that I always liked but it seems like their prices have gone up. Everything I liked was $60-$100. We went downstairs and looked for some Echo jeans for Bryan. He really likes the way they fit him. They're kind of expensive but when you find the right jeans you go for them right?! I love jeans! We both had to go to the bathroom really bad so we went over to the kids area where they're located and as I waited for Bryan I looked at baby stuff. I found the cutest outfit that I wanted to get for Julie but it was a lot of $$ so I opted to wait and see if it goes on sale. We went up stairs to look at the shoes (I want all of them! ;o)) and we looked at some watches and Nate and Teresa came up behind us. We chatted with them for a while. T was there looking for a necklace. Kambrie was aborable of course with her blue and pink balloons. She looked wiped though and ready for nite-nite. Funny thing was that earlier I thought to myself I wonder if we'll see Nate and T at the mall and sure enough. HAHA After we left them we went to The Body Shop. I wanted to see if they had any new Home fragrance oils and we saw Bobbie there. She was picking up some shampoo/body wash there for Randy. She was shopping with Deb's who was at Nordstrom's. Everyone was at the Mall tonight. I got 4 oils, Pumpkin Nectarine (which I've had before), Coconut, Baked Cookies and Golden Apple. The Golden Apple one I was surprised with. It smells SO good. I don't normally like apple scents (some of you know why)! We looked around in some other shops but didn't find anything. I am so bummed that I didn't really find anything for me. I have come to the conclusion that I don't find clothes when I'm with Bryan...I have to be shopping on my own or with my mom, sisters or Friends. Weird. We left the mall close to closing time and were driving up Sunnyside where we saw a pretty bad accident. It was the strangest accident I've ever seen. We came up to the stop light at 122nd and we were behind a Ford Explorer who stopped at the light but then proceeded to go through the red light even though it hadn't changed to green yet and got side swiped by a big working van that was going through a green light pretty fast I might say. They both were able to pull over to the side and I really think we should have stayed...the van next to us pulled over and stayed. Is it against the law to leave when you witness an accident like that? Are you supposed to stay? Anyway, we didn't stay and I just don't understand what was going through the gal's head driving that Explorer? What made her go through? It was the strangest thing. I hope no one was hurt but I wonder if she had been drinking or I don't know?!

Randomness
We FINALLY got the Title to our car! It took us forever to get it from the Credit Union it was at and that we were paying payments to before paying it off. We had to call them 2 times and both of us don’t get off of work in time to go get it before they close.
Our house payment is up the wazoo but HEY we own our car now! ;o)
When I got the mail the other day we got something from the IRS! It says we owe them $500 from our 2004 taxes. EEKS! We’re going to take this to the accountant who did our taxes and see what she can do and what happened!? I guess this happened to my parents and the accountant took care of it and they haven’t heard anything since or had to pay anything. I hope that is the case for us too!

Tears
Bryan went through a breakdown a few months ago. He’s been on Lexapro (sp?) and he’s been seeing a counselor every week. Things have seemed to be getting much better and I’ve been trying hard to make sure that I’m not being the nagging wife that I CAN be. :o( BUT I was sleeping yesterday morning and he had gotten ready for work but then crawled back in bed and snuggled against me and cried. He did it again this morning also. He doesn’t know what’s wrong…I don’t know what’s wrong? I asked him if I’m doing anything because I don’t want to hear later that it was my fault. This is so hard to deal with /understand because it hits so fast and all of the sudden he doesn’t want to do ANYTHING! I feel helpless because I don’t know what to do or how to help? Work is covered because he’s talked to HR and the Doc signed papers so that he could get through this without the fear of getting fired but I still fear that.
I don’t know what to do?!?! :o(
I don’t know what to do?!?! :o(

CAMPING!
I went into work with Bryan on Wednesday so that I could get off early and have time to get things organized for our trip. We drove to Wilsonville and he dropped me off at the Costco out there while he went to his counseling appointment. I got a few things I needed for camping and a few other things that we needed at home as well. I had a lot of time to look around and wonder in the store before he came back to pick me up. It was nice to be able to get that done while he was at his appointment. We headed home and I got started on getting everything packed and organized. I had my handy camping list and checked things off as I went. Bryan mowed the lawns and helped me where ever needed. At about 8 I went to Fred Myer to pick up a few more things. I didn’t end up eating dinner until about 10 I think?!
Thursday morning we got up and packed up the truck and Bryan went to Safeway to get ice for the coolers. My goal was to leave town at noon but that didn’t happen…we did leave our house at noon though. We headed over to my parents and packed as much of their stuff that we could fit along with ours. It’s kind of annoying that we had to pack up all their stuff too but oh well. They don’t have big vehicles and they always help us out with stuff without complaining and with loving hearts. So we should too! We stopped at Wendy’s and got a quick lunch to go, got gas for the truck and were on our way by 1. We got to the campground pretty fast. I didn’t sleep at all…we just listened to music and talked the whole way. Calie was such a good girl. She just laid down on our pillows half in the back and half on the middle consol thing in between us.
One thing that I was SO looking forward to was that Bryan and I were going to get down there and have an evening to ourselves. Granted there were already a ton of church people there which meant that some of his Jr Highers would be there too. Sure enough not even 2 seconds after we drove in, dropped our ticket in the express check in box and pulled into our spot there were Jr Highers everywhere. I should have expected this…huh?! They love him and I DO remember what it was like when I was in JR High and High School and I always wanted to be around Randy and Michelle at family camp. We unpacked everything and set up camp.
When we went camping in June and we had a REALLY BAD night with Calie the first night so we didn’t want a repeat of that. After we got set up we drove to the beach and threw her Frisbee for her a bunch of times and enjoyed the sun setting along the water. It was very windy and chilly but still beautiful! We made a fire when we got back and had hot dogs for dinner. Calie slept like a rock all night long THANK GOODNESS!
Friday we got up kind of early. I think around 7:30…I went to take a shower and Bryan let Calie out to go potty and eat and he started our breakfast! We were having Sausage McMuffins. My shower was cold! They weren’t the “good” showers but they were newer and clean so it worked. The “good” showers have a hot and cold handles so that you can get a good temperature but these were push buttons and just when it would start to get warm it would shut off and I would have to start over again. UGH OH well I was clean and that’s what matters. We hung out around camp a lot and played some games. My parents and Julie arrived and we went over to help them set up their stuff. When they got there Terrie (Julie’s MIL) brought over a little girl outfit that I almost got at Costco when I was there. Thank goodness I didn’t get it. It is WAY cute though! Travis, Moo, Nate and Teresa arrived soon after and I ended up going on a walk with Moo, Alexis, Keira and the dogs to drop off their check in slip. We stopped off at the like kid play structure thing and let the kids play for a little bit and headed back. Travis and Marcia left to get to town and we started dinner. We had foil dinners and mine didn’t turn out very well. We sat around Nate and T’s fire that evening. Bryan went to bed before I did and it was just Travis, Nate, T and I talking when all of the sudden Calie walked up out of the blue by herself. I took her back to the tent and asked Bryan if he knew that Calie came looking for me and he said NO! She had nosed her way out of the tent and came looking for me. Thank God she didn’t wonder off. I would have died!
Saturday I went on some bike rides with T, Kam and Alexis, a ton of walks and we went to the beach. Bryan was all over the place…I couldn’t find him forever. He had walked down to the “good” bathrooms and had a nice HOT shower and had taken a nap too. We had dinner with my family that night. My mom made Spaghetti and I brought Garlic Bread. Bryan was in charge of a night game Saturday night so I hung out with Travis, Moo, Nate and T. Calie was pooped so she climbed up in Teresa’s loveseat camping chair and snuggled next to me. After Alexis got her pj’s on, she came out and fell asleep on my lap. She had ridden her bike ALL day and she was wiped out! She fell right to sleep! Friday night it had taken her a while to fall asleep. I just love that girl! Bryan got back around midnight I think and hung out around the fire for a while. The game didn’t go as well as it went last year which was kind of a bummer but everything can’t always work out perfect. Before the game Keith Jr. jumped on Bryan’s back and his knee gave out again. It’s pretty bad this time too. He’s limping everywhere and in a lot of pain. His knee brace isn’t working either. We went to bed around 1 and slept in till 10. Church at the lake was at 10:30 so needless to say I didn’t go. Bryan went but Julie said that it was so quick that when they sat down they got right back up to leave because it was already over. I went on a walk with Moo and Keira before they left and got a chance to talk to Betty for a while before she left too. I’m glad that we did the extended stay this year. It was a nice little vacation for us. We saw Nate, T and the girls off and then made some lunch. I went on a walk with my mom, dad and Julie and then we played a couple games. Nathan and Janell arrived around 4-5. They both had to work so they could only join us for a night. Julie was ecstatic to see Nathan…I think that is the only time since they’ve been married that they’ve been separated. We had Steak, Potatoes and Corn on the Cob for dinner and then we sat around the fire until 11ish. It was sure quiet around the campground with most of the church members gone. It also sprinkled a little while we were sitting around the fire. It was pretty funny. My dad can’t hear well and we were all talking and randomly he goes HEY I just felt a raindrop on my head. Crazy guy! Hehehe
Monday morning we got up, made breakfast and started packing up. The moment Bryan woke up he was ready to GO HOME! He had to go to class that night and hadn’t done any homework all weekend, so he was ready to go! We left around noon and Calie and I slept pretty much the whole way home. Bryan unpacked the truck into the garage for me and then he went to take a shower and try to get as much homework done as possible before class. I got started on cleaning up everything. I started Laundry, the dishwasher and unpacking. I took a shower, gave Calie a bath, put away all the leftover food and washed the truck. My dad brought us our car just in time for Bryan to leave for class. They barrowed it because Janell needed a car to drive to work and our car is a little bigger than their Toyota. Anyway, while I was washing the truck our neighbor walked over and told me that a sex offender moved into the neighborhood and that the police went around and told everyone to be careful when walking/jogging. I guess he goes after women in parks and that he had moved into his parents house that butts up to the park we have in our neighborhood. He’s not supposed to be by a park and they’re trying to get him out of that house, but I’m irritated because I take Calie on walks every night almost and I love going to the park. UGH I took my dad home and we had pizza for dinner. Everyone was wiped out so we didn’t really talk that much. Hehehe It’s weird how sitting around a campfire for 5 days can wipe you out! It was a nice trip though. Calie and I went home and I folded some more laundry and went to bed.

So my little sister is going to be a Mommy...
Julie is about 19 weeks pregnant. They moved her due date up from January 14th to January 7th. The doc said that she'll probably deliver a month early though, because her pregnancy is high risk. We both have high blood pressure and I guess it's just really taking a toll on her poor body. The pills that she's taking that are supposed to be bringing her BP down are making her throw up and just feel miserable. :o( I wish that she could enjoy this more.
They found out what they're having today...Ready?
Drum roll please...
It's
a
GIRL!
I am so excited to be an aunt to Karissa Kay or Taylor Renee (We're all pulling for Taylor Renee...I just love that name)! Nathan really wanted a boy but the rest of us knew it was a girl. Even Bryan, I asked him last night when we went on a walk what he thought it was and he said girl. My mom bought her the cutest little outfit today. I have to admit I'm jealous...it was so tiny. Janell bought her a cute outfit too and they got her a tiny bikini swim suit too. hehe
Apparently she is a little mover and a shaker. She wouldn't sit still to get her picture taken so the pictures aren't great, but it's still cute. She is already turning out to be just like her mommy. We always say that Julie has ADD. She always has to be moving. :o)

Our TTC journey
I have been off birth control pills for about 3 years I think (I lost track) and not really trying but not really preventing either. I started charting and temping to kind of know when not to "do it" but really we didn't pay attention that much. We knew that when it was our time to have a baby it would happen. We have officially started trying now for about 3 months. The first 2 months were unsuccessful and I think the 3rd one is going to too. I took a pregnancy test on the 10th DPO and it said negative. AF is supposed to show her face any day now but nothing yet...not even really any signs either.
I feel like I have PG signs but I don't know? My stomach feels tight and crampy (the ovulation like cramping though), today I have felt like puking all day! Sorry for the TMI, but my boobs hurt a little. Anyway, my mom asked me if it's hard setting myself up every month and I told her nah I think I'm doing ok but really this IS hard! I know they say it takes a while to get PG, but I've been been off the pill and not really preventing so could there be something wrong? I just want to have a baby! I want to have a family!
I went to Target with my mom and sisters today and they wanted to show me a ton of baby stuff that Julie wants. She wants the Eddie Bauer stroller/car seat, the Eddie Bauer pack & play, the Eddie Bauer dipper bag. hehehe We looked at clothes and stuff...I didn't think that it would be hard but it was.
People say that if you just stop obsessing about it...thinking about it...it will happen but I don't know how to stop thinking about it....
This is probably weird since we're not PG yet, but I get the PB Kid's Catalog and I love these nursery themes.

Weekend Recap
I just LOVE Fridays because it's the beginning of weekend, which means...I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO WORK! YEA!!! Friday morning went fast but it slowed WAY down when it hit around 1pm. At one point I looked at the clock and it said 2:21pm and at what I thought was a long while later I looked again and it was 2:26pm. Only 5 freaking minutes had gone by...WHAT THE HONK?!
Bryan picked me up at 4:30 and I thought that we were going to go get the 2x4's and screws from this place that Dan ordered it from with his cost but when I got into the car Bryan said that the plan had changed. Apparently When Dan called to confirm that everything was ready for us to pick it up they had forgotten. Dan said screw it and I guess while he was at Home Depot he looked to see if the prices were compareable and it was actually like $7 cheaper so he bought everything. SO needless to say we drove over to Dan's and picked it all up, drove home and guess what?? Bryan gave Dan the wrong measurements. He told Dan we needed 2x4's but what we really needed were 2x6's. So we didn't work on the deck at all this weekend. UGH!
We went to dinner at Red Robin...stopped by Cold Stone and got some Ice Cream to go and came home. We watched a movie and my eye's were killing me so I headed to bed and Bryan played video games for a while.
Saturday morning I cleaned a little bit and straightened my hair. That always takes me forever. Bryan talked to Dan and about exchanging the wood so we both got ready and headed over to Dan's with the 2x4's, got his receipt and went to exchange them. We picked up a few other things and then went to get our car at my parents (my dad does our oil changes for us so all we have to pay for is the oil which is nice) and headed home.
I had asked T earlier in the week if she needed some help with setting up for Nate's Surprise B-day party and she said yes! Bryan and I had got home at about 12:20 and I needed to be at T's at 1. So I pretty much left right away. When I got there I got the Baked Beans cooking in the crock pot and got the hamburger fixins ready. T's mom and step dad got there a little after me and got tables and chairs set up. The party was fun and Nate was very surprised!
Bryan and I left around 6:30ish and headed home. I did some laundry and got a lot of of camping stuff ready. We're going to Family camp this next weekend. WAHOO! We leave Thursday and come back on Monday. I'm excited to get away, relax and spend time with my family and friends. I watched some TV and then went to bed. Bryan played video games with Dan, Randy S, Randy T and Terry! Since Terry moved this is a fun way for all of them to talk to him and just have fun!
Bryan and I were dreading going to church this morning(ok not really the going to church part but the getting out of bed part), but I am so glad that we went. Both SS and the service were really good! I learned a lot today!
During the service I sat with Marcia and Bryan sat up a few rows with the JR Highers. It was pretty bare in there today. People must be away and the Katrina people were gone (came back today though). Julie walked in a little late and couldn't find me (she didn't know that I had straightened my hair HA), but when she did she was walking towards us and she is looking more and more pregnant! I'm starting to get really excited to be an Aunt. She finds out tomorrow what she's having! eeeeee Poor thing has been SO sick! I don't think that this has been easy on her what-so-ever! :o(
After church was mingled and chatted with people for a while and then went to lunch at Original Taco House. Bryan and my dad went home and my mom, sisters and I went to a few places to get some things for camping next weekend.
I met Bryan at the church at 4 because we had a meeting with the Pastor and then we came home. We're going to go on a walk soon so I better sign off!

The Beginning
I thought I would start a blog so that I can post about what is going on in my life, my feelings, our TTC journey and anything I want.
